About Swati Project

The Swati Project is run by the Rajeev Neelu Kachwaha Public Charitable Trust founded in 1986  by late Mr. Ranjit Singh Kachwaha. In 1990, the Slum Wing of the Delhi Development Authority allotted to the Trust two halls and a room in Tigri Basti (South Delhi) to launch the Project.

A year later, the Trust was offered another plot of land with tented accommodation in Kanak Durga Basti (South West Delhi) on which (from its own resources) it has since built rooms and developed a playground.

Greetings!

Swati has completed 27 years of service to the people living in the bastis of Kanak Durga and Tigri. This would not have been possible without your best wishes and the almighty’s blessings.
